INTRODUCTION

Vietnam Game Jam 2026 is a game development contest organized by Garena, continuing a successful journey that has already taken place across multiple markets, including Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Singapore.


In Vietnam, the contest will select the top 20 teams nationwide through a Selection Round to advance to the 48-hour Offline Round - where teams will challenge their product development skills and turn ideas into playable game experiences.

SELECTION ROUND

The Professional Committee will evaluate applications to select the top 20 teams for the Offline Round.

22/06 - 26/06/2026

OFFLINE ROUND

Top 20 teams will advance to the 48-hour Offline Round, competing live at Hoa Lu Stadium, Da Kao Ward, Ho Chi Minh City
*Travel and accommodation support is available for participants outside Ho Chi Minh City

ELIGIBILITY

  • Individuals with experience in indie studios or professional game studios
  • University or Academy students aspiring to pursue a career in the gaming industry
  • Aged 18 and above

PARTICIPATION FORMAT

  • Team-based registration (2–5 teammates)
  • Recommended lineup: Game Developer, Game Designer, Artist/VFX, and other roles. A single member may fulfill multiple roles within the team
  • Registration profiles serve as the basis for evaluation during the selection round. Please submit your application via the registration page to enter the selection process

    *Individual participants may register and join our Discord community to find teammates

CONTEST DETAILS

  • Upon successful registration, applications will be evaluated by the Professional Committee during the Selection Round.
  • Selection round:
    The Professional Committee will select the 20 most impressive and suitable teams to advance to the Offline Round (see details here)
  • Offline round:
    The Top 20 teams will enter the 48-hour Offline Round, competing live in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • The contest theme will be announced by the Organizing Committee on the event day.

REGISTRATION

The contest is open to participants aged 18 and above who have experience in indie studios or professional game development studios, and students from University or Academy who aspire to pursue a career in the game industry.

OFFLINE ROUND

The 20 teams advancing from the selection round will compete on-site for 48 hours to develop an entirely new game at the designated venue.
